Shot at the start of the year, the “FELCO 801 ads” have just received the “Best Technical Film” award in the new "Technical & Corporate Films” category at the International Oenovidéo Festival. This particular category is sponsored by SITEVI, the international exhibition for the vine-wine, fruit-vegetable and olive growing sectors.
Stéphane Hérès (country manager France and TBSCG’s creative director), Neil Sullivan (advertising specialist) and Alexandre Louis (video director) worked hand-in-hand with FELCO’s communications team in order to produce the ads.
The shoot took place on-location in three different settings in the south of France, and the English voice-off was recorded in Paris. Long- and short-form versions of the three ads were then subsequently sub-titled in six different languages.
This video production represented just one small part of an extensive communications project to launch Felco’s new electroportable pruning shear, the FELCO 801. TBSCG created all the print communciations tools for its long-standing client, FELCO, as well as developing a dedicated mini-site, www.felco801.com, which echoed the parent site launched in 2012: www.felco820.com.
