Olivier Cuvelier (36) joined TBSCG’s workforce one year ago when in November 2012 the web content management specialist appointed him as a Programme Manager, primarily responsible for all Electrabel projects. On October 21st of this year, he was promoted to Country Manager Belgium. “The past year has given me the opportunity to immerse myself in TBSCG’s corporate culture, familiarize myself with its clients and gain a strong grasp of the various different projects,” he explains.
Having graduated in management information systems and specialising as a programmer analyst, Olivier began his career in 2001 at DAD/LBI as a Java developer. He then held a range of development roles and was involved in numerous large-scale projects (belgium.be and taxonweb.be to name but two) prior to making the switch to project management in 2010 (programme manager and client team lead) for clients such as Belgacom and the Belgian national lottery.
"We are keen for our Country Managers to forge close relationships with clients and to be on-hand whenever needed” explains Bertrand Gillet, TBSCG’s COO. "Olivier’s profile is consequently perfectly suited to our development strategy. What’s more, his background combines both technical expertise and project management, which is a precious asset when it comes to understanding our clients’ needs."
The new Country Manager’s objectives include improving the market’s perception of TBSCG’s fields of competence and expertise (such as web content management and custom hosting solutions), and developing TBSCG’s client portfolio.
