TBSCG sets up home in the City of Light

14.11.2012

Paris, 12th October – On October 1st, TBSCG’s Parisian office finally opened its doors. Its aim? To foster greater proximity with the agencys’ French clients and add a brand new string to the firms’ bow - video content production.

Just a stones’ throw from the Montparnasse Tower at the top of rue de Rennes is where TBSCG has decided to open its fifth office. The brand new Parisian office is in extremely good company, with the firm already boasting offices in London, Brussels, Wroclaw and Tampa. Stéphane Hérès, a member of the Board of Directors, also responsible for the agencys’ communications, will head-up the French branch.

Bertrand Gillet, TBSCG’s COO, could not be more enthusiastic: "What better activity than creation for a firm that is keen to conquer the French market , and what better city than Paris in which to launch an activity of this kind?”

The decision to open a Parisian office coincides with the decision to offer clients a broader range of services. “As well as offering the groups’ existing services (web, cloud, mobile, social), our French branch will have a specialized video-web TV department”, explains Bertrand. Stéphane points out that the agency has already produced video content in the past, "notably for the launch of a new pruning shear for FELCO, our long-standing Swiss client, but we thought it was about time we formalized this activity so as to better market it to our other clients”.

The firms’ newest office has got off to an extremely promising start! TBSCG Paris has, already been asked to produce 2 lots of web TV content for BNP Paribas’ Economic Research portal.

Eco TV is a monthly studio-based show that is presented by a journalist who successively interviews three of the bank’s economists.

Eco TV Week is released every Friday. During this show an expert is given 2 minutes to analyse a specific economic topic. The show is recorded on-location at 9am, the programme is then edited, branded and illustrated during the course of the day, becoming published on-line at 5.30pm.

Both programmes are available in French and English.

Working on the project has come as a “blast from the past” for Stéphane who, just over 4 years ago, was involved in creating Eco TV in the capacity of editorial director. "The programme has changed a lot since then and there’s still plenty more to do…”!
